One listen and you'lll know why New Orleans & the Gulf South wake up with WWL!

Dave Cohen is a dedicated, award winning, veteran broadcaster and family man. Dave joined our WWL team in 1997 as hot shot reporter, who was live, on the scene when breaking news happened. Leaders lead, and it didn't take long for Dave to transition to News Direcor. You've heard Dave in broadcasts around the world on CBS Radio, NPR, BBC and other networks. But, even with all the responsiblities directing WWL's award winning news team, Dave finds balance. He's a proud father of four children and the husband of a wonderful, loving wife. So glad Kathy's a Louisiana girl, who transformed this Chicago boy into a Southerner!
