Cops in Livingston Parish today say a 28-year old woman stabbed a 19-year-old woman to death. As for the motive?
"I've gotten some information that it may have something to do with a male subject, " Livingston Chief Criminal Deputy Jason Ard told WWL First News.
He says they got the call late Monday night of a stabbing at the address of 25522 Sycamore Street in Springfield.
"Upon their arrival they found the victim to have been stabbed numerous times with what turned out to be fatal wounds," Ard said.
He says they interviewed witnesses who identified the killer as 28-year-old Charlotte Marie Lee (above). Ard added, "The suspected admitted stabbing the victim but told investigators it was an accident."
Detectives didn't believe her and say the victim had multiple wounds. The dead woman is identified as 19-year-old Dana Lindsey.
