Bobby opened asking Drew about the turnovers he has committed over the past four weeks. "Yes, I guess you could say it's a bit of bad luck, but it's something that we are working on to correct," said Brees. Brees has seven interceptions and three fumbles in the last four games.
Bobby asked Drew about the strong play of Tight End David Thomas and also the big game that Reggie Bush had in the Saints win over the Rams. Drew commented on new Saints CB Chris McCalister. Being 9-0 and one of just two undefeated teams in the NFL Drew discussed how every opponent is bringing their best effort each play every week of the season. "We do believe that and that's the nature of this league. We know that we are going to get every team's best effort and we have to be well prepared. We have a big game this week against Tampa. They have beaten us three out of the last four times, so we have to be ready to play."
Drew discussed the big kickoff return that Courtney Roby had to start the second half of the game against the Rams…then went on to talk about this weeks opponent the 1-8 Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
