Northshore prostitution busts

The Covington Police Department says a month long uncover operation led to the arrest of three women from California.

In a press release, a police spokesman says a tip to Covington Police Chief Richard Palmisano led to the investigation of "Sunshine Therapy Massage Parlor" on Highway 190.

Undercover agents who went to the business say they were solicited for sex during their massages.

Police say 45-year-old Deng Xiaohuan owned the business and rented out rooms to two women who took turns "servicing" their customers.

According to the spokesman, the two women who were actively engaged in the illegal acts used nicknames like "Wendy" and "Lucy" to make it easier for their customers to remember them.

Investigators say all three women reside at the same address on Hwy 25.

According to the press release, investigators are in the process of translating the business’s records which written in Chinese.

Captain Jack West said that all three women were arrested without incident, booked and released on summons.

Photos of the subjects sent under separate cover
