Work on a movie is closing part of a downtown street.
"Due to film activity the riverside of Convention Center Blvd. WILL BE CLOSED between Poydras and Canal," Katherine Gunnell, Project Manager Office of Film & Video wrote in an email.
She asks people to stay away from there until Wednesday.
"Stunt work and special effects will be taking place. Please avoid this section of Convention Center Blvd. and allow for extra travel time in the area," Gunnell said.
It's for the movie "The Mechanic" with Jason Statham and Donald Sutherland.
