Big Chief's NFL Top Ten - Week #10

Each week I post my NFL Top 10. Here's the Top 10 for this week. Only the Saints and Colts remain perfect.  Take a look at this week's rankings below.

1.  New Orleans (8-0) – Last weeks ranking #1 - The Saints are becoming an elite team because they are finishing games strong in the second half.  Now the Saints have a great shot to get to 10-0 with games at St. Louis and Tampa Bay.  Last week beat Carolina 30-20 / this week @ St. Louis

2.      Indianapolis (8-0) – Last weeks ranking 2nd – Indianapolis is still finding ways to win.  This team will win a lot of games but in the playoffs they will be hard pressed to come out of the AFC this season.  Last week beat Houston 20-17 / this week vs New England

3.      New England (6-2) – Last weeks ranking 3rd - New England could be the first team to knock off the Colts.  Could this game be a preview of the AFC Title Game?  I think not!   Last week beat Miami 27-17 / this week @ Indianapolis.

4.      Pittsburgh (6-2) – Last weeks ranking 4th - The Steelers did not allow Denver to get one rushing first down.  No team closes out games like the Steelers.  Now they face a must win this week in the AFC North.  Last week beat 28-10 Denver / this week versus Cincinnati.

5.      Minnesota (7-1) – Last weeks ranking 5th –  The Vikings have the best RB in football, they have a gutsy QB and the most dominant pass rusher in the game today.  And now this team faces the Lions.  What is this another week off?  Last week open / this week versus Detroit.

6.      Cincinnati (6-2) – Last weeks ranking 7th - The Bengals are rushing the football as well as any team right now and their defense is playing lights out.  That is pretty easy when you’re offense holds the ball for forty minutes.  The Bengals can sweep the Steelers this week with a win over Pittsburgh.  Last week beat Baltimore 17-7 / this week @ Pittsburgh.

7.      Dallas (6-2) – Last weeks ranking 9th– The Cowboys made a statement with a road win over Philly the city of brotherly love. Dallas now leads the NFC East and they are playing extremely well right now.  Better not falter this week against an embarrassed Packers club!  Last week beat Philadelphia 20-16 / this week @ Green Bay.

8.      Denver – (6-2) – Last weeks ranking 6th – Denver has been hammered with two big losses to Baltimore and Pittsburgh.  There once three game lead in the AFC West is now down to one.  Better stop the slide the week @ Washington.  Last week lost to Pittsburgh 28-10 / this week @ Washington.

9.      San Diego (5-3) – Last week not ranked – The Chargers beat the Giants with a big late game winning drive.  Now San Diego can help out the rest of the NFC by beating the Eagles.  Go Bolts Go!  Last week beat New York Giants 21-20 / this week vs Philadelphia.

10.   Atlanta (5-3) – Last weeks ranking NR – The Dirty Birds bounced back by rushing through the Redskins.  The Birds can stay within striking distance of the Saints with a road win over the Panthers this week.  RB Michael Turner is heating up!  Last week beat Washington 31-17 / this week @ Carolina.
