Big Chiefs CFB top 10

Well the Trojans are out of the hunt and the featured game this week is in Tuscaloosa as the Tide tangles with the Bayou Bengals. Someone will move up this week; and if Bama losses Boise State, Iowa, TCU and Cincy will all still be alive in the BCS Title hunt.

1.      Florida (8-0) - The Gators put it all together with a big win over rival Georgia. This team won't be challenged again until the SEC Title Game? Last week beat Georgia 41-17 / this week vs Vanderbilt.

2.     Alabama (8-0) - The Tide had a week off to try and fix their offense. Now they can win the West with victory over LSU. Expect a heavy, heavy dose of the nation's best RB in Mark Ingram. Last week off / this week vs LSU.

3.     Texas (8-0) - The Longhorns are playing as good as they have in a long time on defense and QB Colt McCoy is getting hot. The Horns should get back to the title game this season! Last week beat Oklahoma State 41-14 / this week vs UCF.

4.     Cincinnati (8-0) The Bearcats still need some help in order to reach the title game. This team is playing well without their best player in QB Tony Pike. Back-up QB Zach Collaros is 47-of-63 for 749-yards with 9 TD's and one pick. He's a back-up!. Last week beat Syracuse 28-7 / this week vs Connecticut.

5.     Iowa (9-0) - QB Ricky Stanzi threw five interceptions and his team still won by 21 points. These birds are good! Last week beat Indiana 45-24 / this week vs Northwestern.

6.     TCU (8-0) - The Horned Frogs have outscored their last two opponents 79-7. Their defense is solid and they should run the table. But they will need help to get to the big game.    Last week beat UNLV 41-0 / this week @ San Diego State.

7.     Boise State (8-0) - The Broncos are looking better and better each week. They are winning convincingly and Oregon keeps winning, which can only help the Broncos. Watch out this week @ La. Tech. Last week beat San Jose State 45-7 / this week @ Louisiana Tech.

8.     Oregon (7-1) - The Ducks had twelve offensive possessions against USC with ten going inside the Trojan Red Zone. This team gashed the Trojans for over 600-yards of total offense. A lock for Rose Bowl unless they slip up. Twice! Better respect Stanford. . Last week beat USC 47-20 / this week @ Stanford.

9.     LSU (7-1) - The Tigers will find out just how much improved their offense is this week against the Tide. If LSU can muster 17 points they will win that game!   Last week beat Tulane 42-0 / this week @ Alabama.

10.     Ga. Tech (8-1) - The Yellow Jackets are in control of their own destinty in the ACC and their offense is getting better each week. This team should run the table and who knows if enough teams lose??? Last week beat Vanderbilt 56-31 / this week vs Wake Forest.
