The New Orleans Police Department says that a man who was found stabbed to death in a French quarter apartment this weekend was a prominent Tulane University plastic surgeon and medical instructor.
After firefighters arrived to but out the blaze at a townhouse in the 900 block of Touluse this weekend, investigators say they found the body of Dr. Ralph Edward Newsome.
Tulane University officials said they plans to offer counseling to the staff and students who knew Dr. Newsome.
The NOPD says investigators are still looking for suspects and a motive in this case.
