1. Florida (7-0) - The Gators beat Mississippi State last week despite not looking great. Maybe their rival can get them fired up this week. Last week they beat Mississippi State 29-19 / this week vs Georgia.
2. Alabama (8-0) - The Tide escaped by blocking three Tennessee Field Goals. Like other teams in the SEC, Bama's Offense is struggling. Maybe people will begin to understand that teams put a HUGE emphasis on defense in the SEC. Last week beat Tennessee 12-10 / next vs LSU November 7th (bye this week).
3. Texas (7-0) - The reason why Texas has a shot to win it all is due to their commitment to play better defense. Now can they stop a high powered team in Oklahoma State on the road? I say yes! Last week beat Missouri 41-7 / this week @ Oklahoma State.
4. Cincinnati (7-0) - The Bearcats stand to gain the most if Texas, or Bama lose and they run the table. This team could win the rest of the way, but would be out of the big game unless Iowa and TCU also lose a game. Last week beat Louisville 41-10 / this week @ Syracuse.
5. Iowa (8-0) - Iowa just wins ugly. Get over it! The Hawkeyes deserve to be right here, and if the run the table the mighty SEC and Big XII won't be able to get a one loss team into the big game this season! Last week beat Michigan State 15-13 / this week vs Indiana.
6. TCU (7-0) - The Horned Frogs have one more big hurdle to jump, and then the BCS will have to decide what to do with them. This is a good team that plays good defense, and they run the football. With that said, TCU needs help to get to the title game. Last week beat BYU 38-7 / this week vs UNLV.
7. Boise State (7-0) - The Broncos look like BCS party crashers right now. This team has the schedule to finish the season undefeated. An Oregon win over USC would not hurt the Broncos case to stay in the hunt. Last week beat Hawaii / this week vs San Jose State.
8. USC (6-1) - The Trojans hung on for a 42-36 win over Oregon State last week. Too bad the Men of Troy won't sweep the state of Oregon. A loss is to be expected this week as the Trojans visit the Ducks in Eugene. Last week beat Oregon State 42-36 / this week @ Oregon.
9. LSU (6-1) - The Tigers had their best offensive out put of the season in their win over Auburn. Now a tune up game versus Tulane takes place before a huge one in Alabama. You think LSU might be getting ready for the Crimson Tide this week too? Last week beat Auburn 31-10 / this week vs Tulane.
10. Oregon (6-1) - These Ducks are for real and remember their only loss was to undefeated Boise State to start the season. If the Ducks beat USC, they could move up the ladder and be in striking distance of the BCS Title Game. Last week beat Washington 43-19 / this week vs USC.
