Slidell police arrest alleged attic-dwelling Peeping Tom

Slidell Police say a local man was spying on a Bogalusa woman from her grandmother's attic! Aaron P. Morphis is under arrest on a voyeurism charge.

According to police, the 28-year-old woman was visiting her grandmother in Slidell. While in the shower, she noticed a pair of eyes looking at her from a gap between the ceiling and shower vent.

Police say the victim wrapped herself in a towel and quickly exited the bathroom. According to the report, the grandmother and the victim witnessed Morphis leaving the attic and confronted him. Morphis reportedly apologized and left the scene.

Police say both the grandmother and victim advised that they had suspicions that Morphis had been spying on the victim for several months, but could not prove it.

To avoid identifying the victim, Slidell police said no information as to how the victim and Morphis know each other is going to be released.
