Flood WARNING for Jefferson Parish

The National Weather Service has issued a Flash flood WARNING through 4:15 for Jefferson Parish
A nearly-stationary thunderstorm has dumped 2-3 inches of rain on the Westbank of Jefferson in a short amount of time, and has the potential to several more inches in the area of Timberlane, Harvey, Avondale, and Marrero.
Jefferson Parish authorities report several vehicles stalled out due to high water, including the ground-level Westbank Expressway at Manhattan.
