The NOPD is searching for a 72-year-old woman reported missing Saturday afternoon.
A police spokeswoman says Ester Naomi of Lithoria, Georgia, was last seen in the 300 block of Poydras at around 4:30pm Saturday.
Family members say Mrs. Naomi suffers from advanced stages of Alzheimer's disease.
Ester Naomi is described as a 72-year-old African-American female, approximately 5'4", 160 pounds; she was last seen wearing a straw hat, red shirt, floral jean jacket, blue jeans and tan sandals.
Anyone with information that can help locate Ester Naomi should contact the New Orleans Police Department at 821-2222.
