Gov. Jindal continues "Louisiana working" tour in Kenner today




Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal is continuing his tour of the state making stops today in Kenner and Ponchatoula. The message is very positive dealing with low unemployment and business growth.

Jindal says Louisiana is continuing to outperform other southern states and the rest of the nation with low unemployment and tremendous job growth.

The governor notes a high ranking in the new issue of Southern Business and Development magazine.

"We were named one of the top states, co-state of the year among 15 states for economic development," said Jindal. "New Orleans was the major market of the year with Baton Rouge medium market, and Terrebonne Parish was cited."

Jindal says while spending in Washington is out of control, Louisiana has cut taxes and reduced government spending.
