BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) -- With several months before his first official pep talk of the 2010 season, LSU baseball coach Paul Mainieri has some work to do.
Not only to replenish the Tigers' roster, but also come up with something new to say.
In his previous 27 years as a coach, Mainieri could end one season and begin the next by constructing a message urging his team to keep working toward a national championship.
Now that message has to change a little.
Shortly after returning from Omaha, Neb., after winning the College World Series, the LSU coaches were back at work restructuring the roster.
Though there's plenty of work to do, there is also a solid foundation remaining from the crew that claimed the 2009 national championship.
