4 held after bombs planted in La. churches

Bonds of $90,000 have been set for each of four men accused of planting bombs in two churches in the DeRidder area.

Authorities have booked the four with aggravated burglary, theft, possessing a bomb, simple arson and criminal conspiracy.

The are 17-year-old Nathan Lee of Rosepine, 21-year-old Sidney Fletcher of DeRidder, 18-year-old Timothy Free of DeRidder and 17-year-old Anthony Martin of Rosepine.

Investigators say the bombs were made of fireworks compacted in a heavy-duty flashlight.

At one church, technicians dismantled the bomb.

At the other, authorities say a window was broken by what appeared to be a bomb explosion.
