Michael Jackson's memorial service has been set for Tuesday at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles.
AEG Live, which owns the Staples Center and was Jackson's promoter, has called a news conference for Friday morning to give details for the memorial.
An executive with AEG says tickets for the memorial service will be free, but there's no word yet on how they'll be distributed.
A Los Angeles city councilman thinks the Jackson family should delay the memorial to allow more time to plan.
Councilman Dennis Zine says the city can't afford to pay police overtime.
He also says it will be difficult to plan over the holiday weekend.
