Circus animals walking through New Orleans today

Want to see a parade of circus animals today?

Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus will march to the New Orleans Arena this afternoon.

At 2 o' clock they parade from the train tracks at the river and Henderson Street, go under the Crescent City Connection on Convention Center Blvd., stop at the Children's Museum on Julia, then head to the New Orleans Arena.

"Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus will unload the animals from the 58 car train and escort them to the temporary animal compound at the New Orleans Arena," officials say in a news release.

The circus has elephants, tigers, zebras, llamas and other animals.
