Redneck/Cajun Olympics this weekend

The Silver Creek Campgrounds in Mt. Hermon is the host again this year for the annual "Redneck/Cajun Olympics."

Rene' Goings with the campground says they're expecting a huge crowd to witness the non-traditional sporting events.

"We had over 1,100 people here last year, Goings said. "And we're expecting over 2,000 this year."

She says that events include pig feet bobbing, toilet racing, greased pig catch, mud wrestling, and a bare foot race.

Goings says the events started Friday, and continue through Saturday.

She says all proceeds will benefit Outdoors Without Limits, an organization that helps people who are handicapped, or people who come from broken homes, to take advantage of outdoor recreation such as hunting, camping and fishing.

According to Goings, admission is $10, and coolers are allowed.
