Chris Miller

Chris Miller joined WWL radio in 2000, from WLOX-TV in Biloxi. Prior to that, Chris won awards for coverage of 1998's Hurricane Georges while working for radio station WKNN-FM in Biloxi, and covered news in his hometown of Mobile at news radio station WNTM (now WPMI). He was introduced to the broadcast news business as a college intern for WWL-TV.

Since joining WWL radio, Chris has won the Louisiana Associated Press “Reporter of the Year? award four times, as well as earning regional and national Edward R. Murrow awards from the Radio-Television News Directors Association.  "Without a doubt, my most memorable experience as part of the WWL news team was covering Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath," says Chris. "I don't think anyone who lives in New Orleans wouldn't consider Katrina a life-changing experience."

A graduate of Tulane University, Chris enjoys fishing and cheering on Green Wave athletics, the New Orleans Saints and the New Orleans Hornets with his wife and son.
