Most college football pre-season magazines are set to hit newsstands in the coming weeks, but LSU fans will find the team may be a bit higher in the polls than perhaps it should be.
Lyn Scarbrough, Assistant Editor of Lindy's Magazine says LSU is in their Top Ten, but that was decided before Ryan
Perrilloux was kicked off the team. He says college football pre-season magazines have already gone to press, so the pre-season rankings don't reflect Perrilloux's dismissal.
"I've gotta think that we may have them a little bit higher in our rankings... than we would have," Scarbrough said. He added, however, "The good part for LSU is that it is not necessarily the case that the ranking would have dropped substantially if you had known it; because they're so good otherwise."
Scarbrough says looking at the schedule, LSU will have trouble with three games in particular: Auburn, Florida and
Georgia.
He says an inexperienced quarterback at the helm is not ideal.
