Who Dat Nation has draft wish list

The NFL Draft begins tonight. The Saints go on the clock with pick number 27.

Citizens of the Who Dat Nation have a wide range of opinions when it comes to who to pick. Some point out that the Saints lost a good defensive back after lat season when they released Jabari Greer.

"I'd like to see'em get a cornerback, something like that," said one fan. "Something to help them in the secondary more,"

Other fans would like to see more targets for quarterback Drew Brees.

"An offensive player, I say, maybe another wide receiver," one Who Dat told us.

"I think a wide receiver for Drew Brees...I'd like to see them get (LSU wider receiver) Odell Beckham," said another, agreeing wide receiver is an area that needs to be addressed. "I don't think that's going to happen."

Another Who Dat pointed out that the teams $100 million quarterback could use a little more protection.

"I would love to see a left tackle," wished a fan. "Last year, Drew Brees caught the trouble!"

Other fans they don't care who the Saints pick, saying as long as the picks are good players, they know the Saints will do well.

Deke: Baltimore is good and the Saints are not
OK folks, the New Orleans Saints need a win, and more importantly, the Saints need to start feeling good about themselves like they did just three weeks ago. New Orleans has dropped two straight in a place that many felt is the most difficult place for...

Deke: CFB Top Six, week thirteen
OK the Devils loss to the Beavers could keep the Mississippi State Bulldogs within the top four. To me, they still belong. Alabama is coasting, Florida State just wins, baby, and there is a good battle in the Lone Star State. What about Ohio State? ...

Deke: What does LSU have to play for now?
OK I know that it has been a season of up and downs to say the least for LSU Tigers fans. Just a little over a month ago the Tigers looked doom and gloom, giving up nearly 600 yards and 38 points per game versus their first two SEC foes in Mississippi...

Lewis "steamed up" at Rob Ryan critics
Defensive about Rob: Saints safety Kenny Vaccaro said it yesterday: "Lay off Rob," and cornerback Keenan Lewis is the latest player to come to the defense of defensive coordinator Rob Ryan. "I'm tired of them blaming my coach... it aint my coach. I'm...

Kristian: Vaccaro says "Lay off Rob Ryan"
Blame Rob: Saints defensive coordinator Rob Ryan has gone from the toast of the town in New Orleans in 2013, to the whipping boy this season with the Saints off to a 4 and 7 mark and a defensive unit that is struggling to get off the field on third...

Kristian: Pray for the Saints
In the mood for prayer? When you head to mass this week, have the Saints in mind. The Saints are 4 and 7 and in a three game tailspin for several reasons. The most important and obvious reason; they're just not a very good team. They don't have the...

Kristian: Poor play on 3rd down is costing the Saints
Third down: It's the get-off-the-field down for defenses, and often a good indication as to if a team is playing well. The Saints haven't played well on that down and haven't gotten off the field. "We have to fix this so it can't just be 'oh we...

Still in it: The Saints are still very much still in the race for the NFC south at 4 and 6. Whether or not you think they're a playoff caliber team is a different story. Saints linebacker Curtis Lofton and the team are trying to find as much positive...
