Heisman winner accused of stealing crab legs

A website has reported that 2013 Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston was cited for allegedly shoplifting crab legs from a grocery store.

"Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston was issued a citation Tuesday for shoplifting crab legs from Publix, according to multiple sources," tomahawknation.com reported.

The sheriff in Leon County Florida is expected to hold a news conference on the reports this afternoon.

Before winning the highest individual honor in college football, Winston was accused of raping a woman.  Prosecutors declined to bring formal charges against the quarterback of the Florida State Seminoles.

Winston and the 'Noles went on to win the 2014 BCS National Championship Game as they rallied from 18 down to beat the Auburn Tigers 34-31.
