There are several big events in New Orleans this weekend.  Here is a look at some of the stuff going on:

The Buku Music + Art Project is this weekend featuring The Flaming Lips, David Guetta, Ellie Goulding and Zedd.

New Orleans International Beer Festival at Champions Square on Saturday, March 22, 2014.Showcasing two ounce unlimited sampling of the craft beers from around the world combined with great food, brand new cider garden, beer seminars in the World of Sam Adams, a separate beer garden for "cask" beer, music and games!  $40 minimum admission.

Louisiana Irish-Italian Parade (Metairie) - 12 Noon
The 2014 Louisiana Irish-Italian Parade will roll on March 23th, at 12:00 noon, on the traditional Veterans Highway route in Metairie.

In Tangipahoa Parish, oysters are the main menu item this weekend. The Downtown Amite Oyster Festival has 'em on the half shell, on french bread and lots of other ways...plenty of other great food and music, too! Sunday, noon to 6 p.m.
