NOPD asks for help finding bicyclist attack suspects



New Orleans Police are asking for help finding the attackers in at least one of the two recent baseball bat attacks that left bicyclists wounded on Esplanade Ave. 

Detectives have released a sketch.

In this case a wanted poster says, "The victim was riding his bicycle northbound on Esplanade Avenue when the pictured subject stepped off the neutral ground and impeded the victim's path. A second subject, not pictured, stepped from behind a parked vehicle and swung a baseball bat striking the victim."

There was another similar case also reported.  One victim reportedly suffered a fractured skull, the other a broken jaw.

The NOPD released the following descriptions:

Wanted Subject (pictured):

African - American male, 18 years of age, about 6'00" in height, approximately 170 pounds, athletic build, dark complexion wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with center pocket and grey sweatpants

Wanted Subject (not pictured):

African - American male, 16 years of age or younger, about 5'5" to 5'7” in height,
approximately 170 pounds, stocky build, dark complexion wearing black hooded sweatshirt with grey trimming around hood and sleeves with center pocket, grey sweatpants armed with a grey older aluminum baseball bat covered in black paint
