Detailed forecast for wintery weather in S.E. Louisiana

The National Weather Service says conditions will quickly start to deteriorate in Southeast Louisiana after midnight tonight as much colder air moves in, dropping temperatures into the 20's and 30's across the region.  Forecasters say with the wind it will feel like the teens.

By noon tomorrow, the freezing rain is expected to start falling.

"Freezing rain likely before noon," according to the Weather Service forecast.

More freezing rain is expected in the afternoon and evening, then as the temperatures drop after sunset... "Snow, freezing rain, and sleet before 1am."

Temperatures are expected to be in the teens and 20's Tuesday into Wednesday.  The frozen conditions will continue much of Wednesday.
