LSU running back Jeremy Hill says he is going pro.
"With all of that being said, I have decided to forego my Junior season and enter the 2014 NFL Draft," Hill posted to Twitter.
He added a trio of hashtags: #GeauxTigers, #33ToTheNFL and #Blessed
WWL LSU Columnist Jeff Palermo says it is disappointing for Tiger fans, but the futures is still bring for the LSU running game.
"Terrence Magee really showed that he is an SEC running back," Palermo noted. "And of course, Leonard Fournett, the nation's top high school football prospect has committed to LSU... this guy is a difference maker. As good as Jeremy Hill was this last season, Fournette has the ability to go down as one of the top running backs to ever come out of LSU is he lives up to the expectations."
He says if Hill returned, that would have been big for the Tigers.
"With Zach Mettenberger, Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham all going to the NFL, that would be great to have a guy like Jeremy Hill coming back, but that isn't the case."
Also today, LSU guard Trai Turner announced he is going to enter the NFL draft.
