Saints legend Morten Andersen semifinalist for Hall of Fame

The NFL Hall of Fame section committee has chosen 25 semifinalists from the previously announced list of 126 nominees.  Former Saint Morten Andersen has made the cut.

The "Great Dane" holds numerous NFL kicking records and is the holder of the Saints franchise scoring record with 1,318

The next step will be to reduce the list of 25 semifinalists down to 15, which will be announced during a one hour special on the NFL Network on January 8th at 9pm CST.

This is the first year Anderson is eligible.
