A whole lot of people will be heading up I-59 for Tuscaloosa, Alabama this weekend. It may not be "The Game of the Century," but this week's LSU vs. Alabama tilt is the hottest ticket in the country, according to StubHub.com.
Even though it's not number one versus number two like the last time the Fighting Tigers traveled to Bryant-Denny Stadium, Cameron Papp at StubHub says this is a big matchup -- easily on pace with last year's game in Tiger Stadium.
"And we expect them to surpass last year's sales in the coming week, come game time," Papp said.
The cheapest ticket on the site was $140. Some sellers are asking as much as $2,000.
Papp says LSU and Alabama own most of the top four selling games for them this season -- only Alabama vs. Texas A&M, LSU vs. TCU and Michigan vs Notre Dame have been bigger this season.
