Several former LSU Tigers are making their mark in the pros. Here is a look at how five notable Bayou Bengals had an impact in week nine of the NFL season.
Brandon Lafell: WR, Carolina Panthers
The 4-year pro had a solid outing against the Dirty Birds, hauling in 6 catches for 74 yards (12.3 yards per catch). It was Lafell's second highest yardage total on the season (he had 104 against Minnesota back in October) and his most receptions in a single game.
Perry Riley: LB, Washington Redskins
Another 4th-year LSU player, Riley is on his way to another successful season. He recorded 6 tackles on Sunday against the San Diego Chargers. Last year, Riley had 129 total tackles. This season, he has 68 through 8 games, in addition to 2 sacks and leads the Redskins in tackles.
Ryan Clark: Safety, Pittsburgh Steelers
The Marrero-native played well in what turned out to be a poor showing by the rest of the Pittsburgh defense. Clark notched 10 total tackles (4 solo and 6 assisted). He's in his 12th year in the NFL has been with the Steelers since 2006. While Clark has only recorded 1 interception, he has been a force on defense with 65 total tackles, good for second on the team.

Ridley did lose a fumble, but it was a still a great performance. After a slow start, Ridley turned it on against the Saints and hasn't looked back since.
Dwayne Bowe: WR, Kansas City Chiefs
Bowe had another solid performance against the Bills. He grabbed 7 receptions for 67 yards for the undefeated Chiefs. On the season, the wide out has 33 grabs for 369 yards and 2 TDs.That's an average of 11.2 per catch for the 7 year pro.
