Several football coaches at Destrehan High School have been suspended after reports surfaced that the coaches hacked into a website that allowed them to gain access to another school's playbook.
The suspensions were handed down by St. Charles School system.
The Lafourche Parish Sheriff's office is also looking to see if any criminal acts were committed. Destrehan coaches allegedly spent several hours on this website prior to their game against South Lafourche, which was won by Destrehan 49-24 last week.
The Louisiana High School Athletic Association is also investigating and have issued a penalty ruling for "a violation of the filming/videotaping rule was issued to Destrehan High School in the sport of boys' football on October 30, 2013." View the details of this ruling here.
The ruling forces Destrehan to forfeit its win over South Lafourche.
