Saints coach, fans see room for improvement

Who Dat, Saints fans? Not the Buffalo Bills, losing to the Black & Gold 35-17.  Most people expected the Saints to win big, but after the game, head coach Dean Payton didn't sound as joyous as the Superdome crowd.

"We've got to do a better job...especially with the reoccurring mistakes," Payton said.  "In all areas, all three areas, and that starts with me and the staff, and then right through the players."

Fans Monday morning said they're happy with this week's win and advancing to 6-1, but the ultimate goal is the Super Bowl.

"To go there, you've got to do a little better every week," one fan told WWL First News, "and I think that's probably what (Coach Payton is) aiming at right now."

"Coach is the coach, he's got to take control and keep them going, keep them motivated," another said.

Among the things fans said they didn't like: allowing the Bills to get four sacks of Drew Brees, kicker Garrett Hartley missing two field goals, and defensive back Corey White committing two personal fouls that extended a Buffalo touchdown drive.
