Karen continues to fall apart as the National Hurricane Center has downgraded the system to a depression.
"Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph... Little change in strength is forecast during the next 24 hours... Karen is expected to degenerate into a remnant low by Monday," according to Senior Hurricane Specialist Stacy Stewart.
What's left of the system is forecast to brush the Louisiana coast and turn to the east.
"The center of Karen will move near or over portions of extreme southeastern Louisiana on Sunday...and move just south of the Gulf Coast from Alabama to the Florida Panhandle Sunday night and Monday," Stewart says.
The Hurricane Center has dropped all watches and warnings.
