A new study about your coffee-drinking habits by a clinical psychologist claims it can reveal your personality traits. Dr. Ramani Durvasula conducted an observational study of 1,000 coffee drinkers for a book he was writing, "You Are WHY You Eat: Change Your Food Attitude, Change Your Life."
Like your coffee black? His study says you're old school, efficient, but sort of set in your ways. Put cream and sugar in your coffee? Then you are a comfort seeker, a people pleaser, your generous with your time, but sometimes you get overextended and don't take care of yourself. Do you like frozen or blended drinks? You're a socially bold trendsetter, but you can be reckless.
So we had to test it out ourselves and found downtown that the vast majority agreed with their assessments and that the results are surprisingly accurate.
So, how do you take your coffee? The man who says he always takes it black agreed that he's old school and a purist, likes to keep things simple, and on the dark side the survey says those who like their coffee black can be quiet and moody, abrupt and dismissive and set in their ways. He says, "Pretty much!"
Another woman replied when I told her that people who order her type of blended or frozen drinks are considered reckless in this study, she said "Oh, you don't want to know what I did yesterday to my car!"
