Saints fans excited to be 3-0

That's three-in-a-row for your New Orleans Saints!  The Black and Gold are off to their hottest start since 2009, and that has fans quite optimistic.

It helps that the last time the Saints started 3-0, it ended with Sean Payton and Drew Brees hoisting the Lombardi Trophy in Miami.  So can they sustain this momentum?

"I think they will, they're doing a fantastic job," one fan said.  "You can tell the coach is back."

"That defense is really starting to kick up, now," said another.  "They're getting the feel of it."

"The Saints looked lights out, they got it all together," said another fan, after witnessing the 31-7 blowout at the Superdome.  "Their defense is improved, and of course Brees is Brees."

So far this season, the Saints have held on to win with an impressive goal-line stand, come roaring down the field in the final minute to set up a game-winning field goal and won convincingly in a one-sided route. And speaking of Miami, that's the Saints' next opponent.  The Dolphins are off to a hot start, also at 3-0, setting the stage for a battle of unbeatens at the Superdome in one week on Monday Night Football.

Sure, it's not the start the Saints envisioned, but as many have said in the past, you are what your record says you are in the NFL - and the Saints are 0 and 2 for a reason. "Typically a play here, a play there, you can't describe. A lot of these games...
