Judge orders sheriff to seize LSU search records

The East Baton Rouge Parish sheriff's office is heading to LSU after a judge ordered the sheriff to seize records about the Board of Supervisors' secretive presidential search.
Casey Rayborn Hicks, spokeswoman for Sheriff Sid Gautreaux, says the sheriff's office will report back to Judge Janice Clark after serving the order.
Clark issued the seizure order Tuesday, seeking to get the university board to comply with her four-month old decision that the records of the presidential search are public and must be released.
The board hasn't turned over the list of semifinalists and finalists considered in the presidential search, however, seeking to appeal the ruling. Clark has ruled the board in contempt.
