NOPD releases suspect photos in baby girl's death

New Orleans Police have released photos of people they want to talk to in connection with Thurdays' shooting of a 13-month old baby girl and her babysitter in Central City.
No arrests have been made.
"Somebody has seen something," NOPD Superintendent Ronal Serpas said at an afternoon press conference as he implored the public to come forward with information on the crime.
18-year-old Victoria Thomas was out walking with 1-year-old Londyn Samuels when shots rang out last night at about 8:30.
Serpas said today that investigators believe two shots were fired, and one bullet that hit the woman went through her and killed the baby girl.
At the press conference, Mayor Mitch Landrieu said that Crimestoppers had only received one tip on the killing, when other recent child murders brought many more.

Samuels' father, Keion Reed, today also asked for help in capturing any suspects.
"I really, really appreciate all the support from everybody," said Reed. "But, it's sad to say that it took for this to happen...for the community and everybody else to start speaking up. So I beg you all, if you all know anything to please call Crimestoppers or the police or whoever."
Four young children have been shot and killed in the Central City area over the last four years.
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.
