LSU RB Jeremy Hill pleads guilty to battery charge

LSU running back Jeremy Hill has reportedly pleaded guilty to a charge of simple battery in a Baton Rouge court today, according to WAFB-TV.

Hill's arrest and prosecution came following a late-April scuffle in a bar parking lot.  The judge presiding over his case today sentenced Hill to 2 years probation and mandatory anger management counseling.

The matter has put Hill's 2013 season in doubt because LSU's leading rusher last season is already on probation stemming from his 2012 plea of misdemeanor carnal knowledge of a juvenile.

Shortly after the April incident, LSU coach Les Miles suspended Hill pending the outcome of the case.

Hill's co-defendant Robert Bayardo also pleaded guilty to the same charge, according to the Baton Rouge Advocate.
