Senator Landrieu's son booked with DWI, hit and run
Shana Rose Reporting
An Orleans Parish Prison spokesperson has confirmed that Senator Mary Landrieu's son has been arrested in New Orleans for driving the wrong way in the French Quarter, hit and run, and an open alcoholic beverage in the car.
Twenty-one year-old Connor Snellings reportedly hit a pedestrian, who wasn't badly hurt.
In a written statement, Landrieu says "We love our son whole heartedly, but we are extremely disappointed by his irresponsible actions last night. Those actions have serious consequences both at home and in our legal system. We ask that the public respect his privacy as we work through this challenging time as a family." –Sen. Mary L. Landrieu
