Tiger fans, players not the only ones happy they're headed back to Omaha

LSU baseball fans aren't the only ones happy their team is headed back to Omaha for the College World Series.  Some Omaha businesses are happy to have that "laissez les bon temps rouler" attitude coming back after a four-year absence.

LSU has been a repeat visitor to the College World Series in Omaha for more than 25 years, and Omaha businesses -- especially bars and restaurants -- have grown used to having the purple-and-gold crazies come to town every so often.

"They just treat us very very well," said Tiger Buchholz, manager of Barrett's Barleycorn bar in Omaha.  "They're just gracious and very friendly to other people, they like the atmosphere.  It's great."

He says it's always a treat to host the Fighting Tiger fans.

"You talk to anybody in Omaha, I mean, they are the life of the College World Series," Buchholz said of LSU fans.

And Buchholz said it's not just LSU fans' enjoyment of the good life that makes them so fun, but the way they support all of college baseball.

"I think their passion for the game, I mean, they follow not only their baseball team, but other teams," Buchholz said. "They just like college baseball."
