Jazz Fest lost & found still has a ton of items

Several days after Jazz Fest, the event's lost and found department is still trying to reunite a mountain of items with fest-goers.
Festival operations director Dixie Rubin says the crowd of 425,000 visitors over two weekends leaves more than a few things behind.
"We collect it at night, and bring it back out," she said.  "After the festival, we go through everything...and we try to try track other people down, if we can, and that's where we are right now, hoping somebody will call us and make someone's day."
Rubin says they find lots of glasses, backpacks, and many other types of items.
"Wallets, we've got lots of drivers licenses, and credit cards.  Small purses, lots of keys, there's usually a few hats, and cell phones, of course."
In addition to hearing aids, art work, and even jewelry, she says they've had some higher-end items turned in over the years.
"We have a camera right now we're trying to figure out how to get back to its owner, a fairly nice digital camera."
If you lost an item or two at this year's Jazz Fest, you can call the main office at 504-410-4100, or email lost@nojazzfest.com.

If archeologists found evidence of Christ's body, would that change your faith?
