Former LSU Tiger and Saint arrested in Baton Rouge

Police say former LSU Tiger and Saint Randall Gay was arrested Thursday morning after he was allegedly involved in an altercation with several employees at The Bulldog in Baton Rouge.

Lt. Don Kelly says Baton Rouge Police got involved when Gay refused to leave the establishment.

Kelly says a woman with Gay was also arrested for interfering with the arrest and violent behavior.

"She also, then, tried to kick out the back window of one of our police cars and so was charged with damage to property for that."

Gay was charged  with remaining on premises when forbidden, two counts of simple battery, resisting an officer and disturbing the peace by public intoxication.

Gay's playing career ended after the 2010 season, but he won a Super Bowl ring with New Orleans and New England. And the former defensive back was on LSU's 2003 BCS National Championship team.

Kelly says they are still investigating why Gay became aggressive with workers at the bar.
