Soggy Jazz Fest rolls on despite late start

Heavy morning rains on top of already-soaked grounds made for a muddy mess this morning at the New Orleans Fairgrounds.  Officials delayed the opening of the gates of the Jazz Fest for an hour as crews did their best to get the Fairgrounds presentable for the Friday crowds to come.

Muddy fields, cool temps and overcast skies meant fest-goers were wearing sleeves and boots, rather than the usual shorts and T-shirts.

Temperatures struggled to get above 60 degrees through the day, though the official forecast called for a possible high of 71.

The weather for Saturday and Sunday is expected to be picture-perfect, with no chance of rain, lower humidity, and highs in the low 70s.

If archeologists found evidence of Christ's body, would that change your faith?
