Mitchell returning to LSU LSU forward Tasmin Mitchell formally withdrew from the NBA draft on Monday, allowing him to remain with the Tigers for another season. Mitchell, who averaged 16.3 points and 7.2 rebounds last season, will return as a fifth-year senior next fall.

LSU receiver will transfer LSU football coach Les Miles said Thursday wide receiver Ricky Dixon has decided to transfer to another school. Dixon, who would have been a junior this fall, is thought to be transferring to Texas Southern. Dixon played in 10 games for the Tigers in 2008, all in a backup role.
