JPSO looking for endangered runaway and baby

The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding a local teen who fled home with a baby after threatening to run away to Mexico with her adult boyfriend.

JPSO Spokesman Col. John Fortunato issued the following alert this evening, along with the photo above:

The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office is currently investigating the disappearance (endangered runaway) of 15-year-old Emily Gutierrez and her 8-month-old son, Christopher Gutierrez.  Both Emily and her son were last seen at their residence in Terrytown, LA.  According to family and friends, Emily has been threatening to runaway to Mexico to reunite with her child's father, 20-year old Armando Reyes.

After checking the residence, it appears that Emily took very little to support herself and the needs of a 8 month old baby.  Emily is described as being 5'2" tall, 125 pounds, brown hair and green eyes.

Christopher Gutierrez is described as having brown hair and brown eyes.  Anyone with information please contact the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office at 504-364-5300 or Crimestoppers.
