On Thursday morning, the NOPD released a computerized composite sketch of one of the four suspects wanted for the early-morning robbery of WWL Radio's host Scoot.

Scoot was robbed by four men as he walked to work in the CBD just before 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

As he was walking in the 600 block of Gravier Street, he was approached by four black males.  One of the robbers blocked his path and said, "let's see what you got in your pockets." That robber (pictured above) began patting down Scoot's pockets.  When Scoot resisted, that robber knocked him to the ground, began punching him, and then took his briefcase.

The four robbers then ran south toward Camp Street, entered a red four-door vehicle, and fled the scene towards Canal Street.

Scoot says the vehicle was possibly a Chevrolet.

The perpetrator in the sketch above is described as a black male, about 25-30 years in age, 5' 11'' to six feet tall with an average build, possibly 180-190 pounds.  This suspect was wearing a yellow construction vest, red T-shirt, and dark pants.

Anyone with information regarding this robbery can contact NOPD, Det. Bryan Jones at (504) 658-6729, or NOPD District Detectives at (504) 658-6080, or Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111.
