The action continues hot and heavy in Hollywood South.
The cameras only stopped rolling for a brief Oscar weekend, when the stars returned to Southern California.
But they're back, with a plethora of projects now through the next couple months...both film and TV.
"You're looking at at least seven projects right now, and probably more" says Chris Stelly, with the state Office of Entertainment Industry Development. "I think there's probably more that just haven't announced themselves yet."
And, that means there's plenty of stargazing to be done in the city.
"Currently, you've got Sylvester Stallone and Robert De Niro shooting right now, and then you've got Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson here shooting another HBO series."
Also, Jason Statham returns for 8 weeks to shoot the feature film, 'Heat'.
"Of course he's done quite a few things here in Louisiana," says Stelly. " It's obvious that he loves the city and he loves the state of Louisiana."
But, it seems no one has been doing more work in the city recently than Stallone, who's returning to the boxing ring for his latest flick, 'Grudge Match'.
"I know," laughs Stelly. "He's been doing a lot of work here. And this is an interesting project...a couple of old boxers played by Sylvester Stallone and Robert De Niro. So, you've got two fine actors 'duking it out,' so to speak."
Stelly says it appears Hollywood South is doing something right.
"You know, they keep coming back. And that's the true testament to what we've built and what we continue to build upon."
