He announced in New Orleans that he was running for President, and now John Edwards is returning to the Crescent City to bow out of the race for the White House.
Edwards has scheduled a noon announcement at Musicians' Village in the 9th Ward.
Edwards has consistently finished behind Hillary Clinton and Barrack Obama in Democratic Primaries. He has won a total of 58 delegates.
Edwards in not expected to immediately endorse Clinton or Obama.
