A judge today ruled Jeremiah Wright is "incompetent to stand trial" in the decapitation killing of his son, according to the Houma Courier.
The Courier reports state District Judge John LeBlanc made the ruling today.
The ruling means Wright's murder trial is suspended indefinately. The report says Wright will be returned to a mental hospital for "more treatment aimed at making him competent to assist his attorneys."
If he is eventually found fit to stand trial, he will face a charge of first-degree murder in the killing of his disabled 7-year-old Jori Lirette.
During a six-day hearing that ended Feb. 4, at least a dozen investigators and experts testified that Wright has told them that Jori was not a boy but a robot or CPR dummy put into his home as a government experiment to teach him about life.

District Judge John LeBlanc had said he would rule last Wednesday on whether such delusions make Wright unable to help his attorneys. But Friday ended without a ruling.
