New Orleans Police are asking for help finding a woman they have identified as a "person of interest" in a shooting.
"First District Officers were dispatched to 'shots fired' in the area of St. Louis and Crozat Streets. Upon arrival, officers located a 17-year-old female suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to her body. She was transported to the hospital where she remains at this time," Officer Hilal Williams said in an email.
She says they were able to learn some information about a suspect.
"The only name we have on her is 'Ceedy' from the uptown area," Williams wrote.
Police gave this description:
"Person of interest is an African-American female with blond hair wearing a white sweater and ripped jeans."
