It's Valentine's Day. If you're single, nothing to see here, move along -- but if you're in a relationship, you may have some chores to complete today if you haven't already.

Most guys know they can't fight it, so they at least try to make sure they do something.

"I know it's like a commercial holiday, but women expect it," said one man.  "It's a day to show your appreciation for your loved one."

And for the most part, it doesn't take a whole lot of effort.

"Being a woman, you know I expect my roses.  I usually get'em, and a box of candy," one woman told WWL First News.

The pitfall: if all it takes is something simple, you had better not mess it up, either.

"I forgot one, once.  I'll never do that again," another man told us.  "Oh, I paid for it in the end.  I had a little catching up to do."
